Sounds like things are going well for you. It may take all week, but if you keep being consistent with all you are doing I feel sure you will all be sleeping better. I will pray for it to resolve quickly.
Love, MOM.

Wow, what a good eater you have there! That's awesome. My son didn't like pears the first time he ate them, but I tried again last week and he loved them. Go figure. Makes me wonder about how taste buds develop!

Harmony, I don't think beets are tart like apples or peaches, so I am actually expecting her to like them. Maybe not spinach if it's got any bitterness to it.

I assume you're exaggerating the Mommy Guilt you feel, but I guess it's worth mentioning that letting a 4-month-old taste apple juice is not bad mothering. :-)

One can only hope she'll like them all. Based on her reception to fruits, I'm thinking she might not like beets much? Other than that she's doing well.

Pearl has had milk. ... And a teeny tiny bit of apple juice off my fingers three days ago, because I couldn't think of anything else to keep her happy in the car. It worked, btw. But I feel like such a bad mom. ;-)

Husband,

That would be an excellent way for me to collect life insurance early.

To each his own, I guess. I'm not quite as fond of the cheddar corn chowder, either, if it's made without the cream and bacon and cheese. ;-)

Last year, our Thanksgiving was actually very healthy. We split the "feast" up into two or three meals -- a roast chicken with Thanksgiving green beans and cornbread dressing, some Turkey dark meat (which I learned I don't care for) with cranberry sauce, sweet potato casserole (okay, *that* needs to be healthier this year), mashed potatoes, and corn.

My thinking is that what's unhealthy about Thanksgiving is having 11 Must-Have items to put on your plate. And one of them is extra-special so you get seconds of it, because you hardly got any the first time around for fear of overcrowding your plate. The dishes themselves are actually very healthy in general.

This technique also has the side effect that it makes Thanksgiving last longer. :-)
